A better TTC

I lived in Moscow in the 1980s, where the subway grew by five to seven stations a year. Toronto builds roughly one kilometre of subway a year. With today's technology, we can do far better.

A better TTC

Expand the subway faster

The Downsview–York extension took the better part of a decade. Other cities use more modern construction methods and build far faster. Toronto should adopt them and accelerate expansion.

Fix the basics riders feel

Most riders agree the system needs real improvement in maintenance, cleanliness, and safety. Transit people can actually rely on is the goal — not just new lines someday.

What I'll push for
  • Adopt modern construction methods to speed subway expansion
  • Invest in maintenance and cleanliness
  • Improve safety across the system
  • Build transit riders can rely on
